Where and how can we add most value to the lives of patients and clients? Consumer Outcomes & Experiences

Ask the consumer

Traditionally, clinical outcomes determine the degree of treatment success. But satisfying lab values do not automatically mean that the patient is doing well, for example. Good clinical outcomes do not necessarily reflect the actual value of the treatment. We have to ask the consumer. Patient reported outcomes (PROs) and Patient reported experiences (PREs) are essential to assess health and quality of care.

Consumer outcomes & experiences give a voice to patients and clients. Our tools ask patients, clients and informal caregivers about:

  • Quality of Life: Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
  • Level of satisfaction: Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREMs)/Consumer Quality Index (CQi)
  • Preferences
  • Anamnesis
  • Other things you would like to know

Our solutions are developed with input from health scientists and add value in daily healthcare routines. Consumers find our tools easy to use, and we are privacy & security compliant.

Consumer reported outcomes and clinical outcomes

Consumer reported outcomes and experience can only be interpreted and used for improvements, when they are combined with medical information. This is standardly included in our offers. We connect with EMRs/EHRs when possible. We collect the voice of the consumer and re-use data for multiple purposes: shared decision making, patient monitoring, (intern)national benchmarking programs, including ICHOM, DICA and LROI.
Questionnaires are up-to-date, include automatic reminders and follow-ups. Anything to understand how to add value to consumers, but with no or minimal burden to collect data.

And last, but not least: our implementation specialists are ready to provide implementation guidance.
